INSTITUTE OF APPLIED CONTROL SYSTEMS OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF UKRAINE ANNOUNCES RECRUITMENT FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDIES FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMY FOR OBTAINING THE DEGREE OF DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN THE SPECIALTY F3 COMPUTER SCIENCE

The training of higher education applicants in postgraduate studies is carried out:
in full-time (full-time) form of study - the training period is 4 years and
in part-time form of study - the training period is 4 years.
But remember that you can only enter into a contract for part-time study. 

Entrance exams are prescribed in the rules for admission to postgraduate studies, which are publicly available on the official website of the Institute at the link

Entrance exams at the Institute are held from August 26 to September 07, 2025.
The entrance exam in the specialty will test knowledge in the chosen specialty. Questions may relate to theory and modern research in the relevant field.
Presentation of your own research proposals.
Additional tests (for applicants from another field of knowledge).

Documents submitted upon admission to postgraduate study:
1) an application addressed to the Director of the Institute;
2) a researcher’s questionnaire;
3) an autobiography;
4) a copy of a document (one of the documents) certifying the identity;
5) a copy of the identification code;
6) a copy of the document on the obtained master’s degree (educational and qualification level of a specialist), on the basis of which admission is made, and an appendix to it;
7) persons who have received the relevant education abroad submit a copy of the diploma, its translation, certified in accordance with the established procedure, and a certificate of its recognition in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science dated May 5, 2015 No. 504 “Some issues of recognition in Ukraine of foreign documents on education”, registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on May 27, 2015 under No. 614/27059;
8) a copy of the EBI certificate with a score for the foreign language test and for the general educational competence test (TGNC) in 2024 or 2025, or 2026 with a total score of 300 points;
9) a copy of the EVB certificate on scientific research methodology in 2025 or 2026 with a score of 100 points;
10) four 3x4 photographs;
11) a list of published scientific works, inventions, a research proposal related to future scientific research;
12) a copy of the military registration document - for those liable for military service (except for cases provided for by law).
