The Institute of Applied Control Systems announces admissions to its PhD program for 2026. We invite ambitious Master’s graduates and practicing IT professionals—who seek to go beyond standard engineering solutions and dedicate themselves to developing next-generation, highly reliable, intelligent control systems—to pursue a PhD degree in the field of "Computer Sciences" (Specialty F3), a discipline that forms the foundation of the modern digital economy.

The draft Procedure for Admission to Higher Education in 2026 stipulates that applicants seeking to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree must take the Unified Entrance Exam (UEE) and the Unified Entrance Test on Research Methodology (UET).
The Unified Entrance Test (UET) is a form of external assessment of an applicant's proficiency in research methodology for admission to the third (educational-scientific or educational-creative) level of higher education. UET test items will be developed in accordance with the Program for the Unified Entrance Test on Research Methodology.
The Unified Entrance Exam (UEE) is a form of external assessment of an applicant's readiness for the third (educational-scientific) level of higher education, combining a General Academic Competence Test (GACT) and a foreign language test (English, German, French, or Spanish, at the applicant's choice). GACT tasks will be developed in accordance with the General Academic Competence Test Program, while foreign language tasks will follow the Program for the Unified Entrance Exam in Foreign Languages.
