ANNOUNCEMENT on holding a competition to fill vacant positions of researchers at the Institute of Applied Control Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
In accordance with the "Regulations on the procedure for holding a competition to fill vacant positions of scientific workers at the Institute of Applied Control Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine", approved by the Academic Council of the Institute of Applied Control Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine dated 04/15/2026 (protocol No. 3) and put into effect by order of the Director of the Institute of Applied Control Systems of the NAS of Ukraine dated 04/15/2026 No. 7, a competition is announced to fill vacant positions of scientific workers:
Department of Mathematical Modeling
leading researcher – 2 positions;
senior researcher – 5 positions;
leading engineer – 2 positions.
Department of Complex Research
leading researcher – 1 position;
senior researcher – 3 positions;
leading engineer – 4 positions.
Department of Scientific Education and Portal Solutions
head – 1 position;
leading researcher – 2 positions;
senior researcher – 1 position;
leading engineer – 3 positions.
Department of Robotic Systems
Junior Researcher – 1 position;
Leading Engineer – 1 position.
Department of Control Systems in Additive Technologies
Leading Engineer – 1 position.
Requirements for applicants for the position of Head of the Scientific Department: Doctor of Science or Doctor of Philosophy (Candidate of Science).
Requirements for applicants for the position of Leading Researcher: Doctor of Science or Doctor of Philosophy (Candidate of Science).
Requirements for applicants for the position of Senior Researcher: Doctor of Science or Doctor of Philosophy (Candidate of Science).
Requirements for applicants for the position of Junior Researcher: Doctor of Philosophy (Candidate of Science) or a person with a higher education of the second (master's) level.
Requirements for applicants for the position of lead engineer: Doctor of Philosophy (Candidate of Science) or a person with a second (master's) level higher education.
General requirements for competition participants: Participation in the competition is allowed to persons who have a scientific degree (Doctor of Science, Doctor of Philosophy or Candidate of Science), academic titles, publications in publications indexed in the Scopus and/or Web of Science databases, as well as experience in scientific and scientific-organizational work in the relevant profile.
List of documents submitted for participation in the competition:
- Written application addressed to the director about participation in the competition.
- Copy of an identity document.
- Completed identity card (of the established sample).
- Autobiography.
- Copies of documents on higher education, advanced training, award of a scientific degree, award of an academic title, military ID card (for military personnel or those liable for military service).
- List of scientific works, inventions, publications published in the last five years.
Candidates may provide additional information reflecting the results of their scientific activities:
patents for inventions that have passed the qualification examination;
monographies (chapters in collective monographs);
links to online scientific profiles.
- Documents confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language (if available).
- Consent to the collection and processing of personal data.
Note: Employees who are already working at the Institute submit only an application and a list of works for the last period.
If submitting documents by e-mail, such documents are submitted in scanned form (PDF format, each document as a separate file).
Deadline for submitting documents: Documents are accepted within 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this announcement.
